1. Overview

Fur Ledger ("the App") is owned and operated by Apex Global LLC, based in Battle Mountain, Nevada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

By using Fur Ledger, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

We collect your name and email address when you create an account or contact us. This allows you to log in, manage your subscription, and receive updates or important notifications about the App.

User and Device Identifiers

To operate the App, we collect and store identifiers that are associated with your account or your device:

  • Account identifier – a unique user ID assigned by Firebase Authentication when you create an account, used to associate your hunts, contests, and settings with you.
  • Subscription identifier – a unique app user ID assigned by RevenueCat, used to verify your subscription and restore purchases across devices.
  • Push notification token – a device-specific token used to deliver notifications about contests, hunt reminders, and important account or service notices.
  • Installation and device identifiers – generated by Firebase and used for security, abuse prevention, and reliable delivery of app services.

These identifiers are required for the App to function and cannot be turned off while you have an account. They are not used for advertising, and we do not use advertising IDs.

Location Data

Fur Ledger uses your device's precise GPS location to provide mapping, scouting markers, weather and environmental conditions, and hunt-logging features. Precise location is stored with the hunts and scouting spots you choose to save.

Location is optional. You can decline or revoke location access at any time in your device settings and continue to use the App, though location-based features will be limited.

Photos and Videos

If you choose to attach photos or videos to a hunt log or submit them as a contest entry, those files are uploaded to our media storage provider (Cloudinary) and stored with your account. We access your camera and photo library only when you actively choose to add media.

Photos and videos are optional. The App is fully usable without them.

Content You Create

Hunt logs, notes, scouting markers, contest entries, and other records you create are stored in our database so they are available to you across devices. Messages you send to P.A.R.V.O. are described in Section 3.

Anonymous Sound Data

When using the calling features, Fur Ledger may collect anonymous sound usage data to help compile regional working sound maps. This helps improve effectiveness and insights for hunters across different areas.

You can opt out of this data collection anytime in the app's settings.

Payment and Subscription Data

Payments are processed entirely by the app stores (Apple or Google). We never receive or store your card number or other financial account details.

We do receive and store a record of your subscription status and purchase history from RevenueCat — such as which plan you hold, when it renews, and whether a purchase was completed — so we can unlock paid features and restore your purchases.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each acts as a service provider processing data on our behalf:

  • Firebase (Google) – authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, and backend functions.
  • RevenueCat – subscription management and purchase verification.
  • Cloudinary – storage and delivery of photos and videos you upload.
  • Mapbox – maps and mapping tiles. Receives location coordinates in order to render the map you are viewing.
  • OpenAI – powers P.A.R.V.O. Receives the content of AI requests you make, as described in Section 3. Some questions also trigger a web search derived from your message.
  • Weather and mapping data providers (including WeatherAPI, Open-Meteo, and the U.S. National Weather Service) – receive approximate coordinates to return forecasts and environmental conditions.
  • EmailJS – delivers support and contact form messages.

Each of these providers follows its own security and privacy standards consistent with industry best practices.

3. P.A.R.V.O. AI Assistant

Fur Ledger includes an optional AI hunting assistant called P.A.R.V.O. You can use the rest of the App without it.

When you use P.A.R.V.O., we process:

  • The questions and messages you type
  • Recent turns in that conversation
  • A short saved summary of the conversation (“memory”) so replies can stay consistent
  • Hunting-profile facts the assistant infers from chat (for example, region, preferred tactics, or equipment you mention)
  • Limited hunt and conditions context already stored in your account, when it is needed to answer (such as region or weather)

That content is sent from our servers to OpenAI, which generates the reply. OpenAI acts as our service provider. We use the OpenAI API. Under OpenAI’s API terms, that content is not used to train OpenAI’s models. We do not sell your chats.

Some questions cause P.A.R.V.O. to run a web search. In those cases, a search query derived from your message is sent to a search provider so the assistant can look up current information (for example gear or regulations). Do not put information in chat that you would not want included in a search query.

We store conversation history and memory with your account so P.A.R.V.O. can continue a thread. You can clear a conversation in the App. Deleting your account permanently removes AI conversation history, memory, and inferred profile facts along with the rest of your account data.

P.A.R.V.O. can be wrong. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for checking hunting laws, seasons, and land access in your area. You are responsible for how you use any suggestion it gives.

Do not submit other people’s personal information, information about children, or sensitive data that is not needed to ask a hunting question.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the app's core features (mapping, weather, hunt logs, scouting, contests, sounds, and P.A.R.V.O.).
  • Create and manage your account, and keep your data in sync across your devices.
  • Verify your subscription and restore your purchases.
  • Send you notifications about contests, hunt reminders, and important account or service notices.
  • Maintain the security of the App, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve performance and reliability, and develop new tools and features for hunters.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

5. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, trade, or rent user data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 2, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their function on our behalf. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or Apex Global LLC.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this:

  • In the app – go to Settings and choose Delete Account. Deletion is immediate.
  • By request – email support@furledger.com or submit a request at apex3dhunt.com/contact-us.

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal information, account and device identifiers, hunt logs, scouting markers, saved locations, uploaded photos and videos, AI conversation history, and contest entries. This cannot be undone.

Anonymous sound data that has already been compiled into regional averages may remain, but contains no identifiable information. We may also retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Data Security

We take your privacy seriously.

Fur Ledger uses Firebase's encrypted databases, secure authentication, and other industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. While no system can guarantee 100% security, we continuously work to keep your information safe.

8. Age Policy

Fur Ledger is rated for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors beyond what is necessary to operate the app's basic features.

9. Location-Based Features

Fur Ledger uses your device's location solely for providing mapping, weather, and hunt-logging features. Location data is never sold or shared and can be disabled in your device's privacy settings at any time.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
